Here's my response and don't forget to check the comments on the BTT site for everyone else's.
I tend to read in bed. I know, you're not supposed to do that. It makes it hard to fall asleep. But it's just so comfortable. I don't just read in bed at night - I can read in bed at any time of day. Even first thing when I wake up.
The bed's my most common place to read, but I can read anywhere. I read on the couch with the TV on; in a car on a roadtrip (except when I'm driving - then it's audiobooks); on the top of a mountain or secluded beach. If I want to read then nothing distracts me.
However, often when I try to read I am easily distracted. That's a sign that the book hasn't really captured me (it's the book's fault, not mine). When that happens I let it happen - I read for fun now, so I don't force myself to read. I read because I want the story to distract me from everything else in my life. If that happens, I'll keep reading anywhere.
I read in bed, too, but I have to be careful because I have a tendency to fall asleep. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: Location, location, location!
I am another one that reads anywhere and everywhere. I've been known to read at redlights. Having books on my phone makes it easier than ever to do that! I love the time we live in. haha
ReplyDeleteI read anywhere - but I think the bed is my favorite spot too.
